The Conservation Alliance
The Conservation Alliance is a non-profit organization of outdoor businesses whose collective annual membership dues support grassroots citizen-action groups and their efforts to protect wild and natural areas. One hundred percent of its member companies' dues go directly to diverse, local community groups across North America who seek to protect the last great wild lands and waterways from resource extraction and commercial development.
Royal Scottish Geographical Society
Founded in 1884, the RSGS is an educational charity whose aims are to advance the science of Geography and create a greater understanding of the wider world, in the belief that geographical knowledge makes a significant difference to the way in which we view and shape the world we live in. In 2004, the RSGS celebrated 100-years of Antarctic exploration while following the routes taken by William Bruce and the ship, Scotia.
The Tom Crean Society
The Tom Crean Society – Tom Crean was one of the great Irish Antarctic explorers. He figured prominently in three of the four major British Antarctic Expeditions including Discovery (1901-04), Terra Nova (1910-13) and Endurance (1914-16). He experiences with Scott and Shackleton were unparalleled. He is a true Irish hero and a great personification of the Irish spirit and strength. The Tom Crean Society is based at his birth place of Annascaul, Ireland.
Oasis Journeys
